Paraluman "Edhelreth" Surana is an elvhen mage that had discovered their abilities when they were nine and had turned themself in to the Templars shortly after. They attempt to help their surrogate brother, Jowan, escape the Circle with his beloved, Lily, only for that attempt to be foiled by their surrogate father, First Enchanter Irving. After being persuaded by Irving to join Duncan as a Grey Warden Recruit they participate in the battle at Ostagar and survived its fall. Following Loghain Mac Tir's betrayal, Paraluman then proceeded to recruit the Grey Warden's allies against the Archdemon and later becomes the Hero of Ferelden.
