Work in progress - more to come

Overview[]

Physical Appearance[]

Here's what Your OC looks like, pal.

Personality[]

Aoife hates attention, big crowds, and dancing. She's not one to readily hop into a ceili dance, and will usually do so only if her best friend dragged her. She does enjoy an evening of good craic at the pub every now and then - she'll simply watch and chat more than join in. Kilkenny or Guinness? Definitely Guinness.

Talents and Skills[]

Here's what Your OC is good at, jabroni. Doesn't have to just include killing things, though let's be real, it probably includes killing things.

Miscellaneous[]

  • Aoife is not fluent in Irish, but she does know some basic. Her favorite songs to sing are Irish folk songs, both in English and Irish. She's not much for Top 40 radio, preferring Irish Trad tunes.
  • Alistair calls Aoife love or darling, but he'll sometimes slip in a mo chroí or mo ghrá (mo cree, mo graw) after he learns they mean my heart and my love in Irish, which Aoife finds extremely sweet. He feels it honors her culture, along with being special and unique. Aoife mainly uses Ali and love.
  • Face claim: Ilona Bugaeva, a famous Russian cosplayer. More specifically, a picture of her as Merida found here. Eyes should be green.
  • Singing voice claim: Karan Casey, Irish folk singer and former member of the band Solas. You can listen to Karan singing "Distant Shore", a rather fitting song for Aoife, on YouTube here. Lyrics can be found here. A good (and upbeat!) example of a traditional song in Irish, "Nil' na lá" (as sung by Solas), can be found here.
  • Note that I do not consider Aoife as a Merida - her hair isn't as wild, more like controlled curly, and she doesn't have as much of it. Plus it's more auburn red than ginger. But Merida can be a reference of sort.
